There'll never be another Xavi - Enrique


Barcelona coach Lius Enrique has said Barcelona will have to adapt to life without Xavi, describing the play maker as a player that can never be replaced.

Enrique said this after Xavi played his last game for the Catalan giants in a 2-2 draw against Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday.

 According to him "There will never be another player like Xavi and Barcelona will have to adapt accordingly now that he is leaving"

The former Barcelona forward stressed that unique players like Xavi are hard to replace adding that he and those coming after him will have to adapt different types of players.

"Xavi is a football genius and he is the best midfielder in the history of the game." He opined.

Xavi, who is 35 years old announced that he will be joining Qatari side Al Sadd after spending 17 seasons in Barcelona first team and winning 23 trophies in more than two decades with the club he joined as an 11-year-old in 1991.
